This one hour lecture is presented as a free lunch time in-service, a brown-bag meeting at any given clinical or academic institution, or at the conference level. During the lecture, the anatomical, neurological and biomechanical bases of the Spinal Mobility technique are explained and some positions used are demonstrated by the instructor with the assistance of a model-demonstrator; someone with SCI or other trunk weakness limitation. This presentation is geared towards clinicians; it can be modified to a longer format for students with added time made available for them to have a hands-on experience with the model demonstrators.

Spinal Mobility lecture/demonstrations have been presented at many institutions including The Rusk Institute of New York University, Columbia University and at The Academy of Spinal Cord Injury Professionals (ASCIP).
